SAFE Cluster participated in the European Annual Conference on research in the security domain that took place at The Hague on 1-2 June 2016.

Organized by the European Commission and The Hague Security Cluster (HSD), this conference gathered almost 400 participants coming from all over Europe and the United States.

SAFE Cluster used this event as an occasion to confirm its European position in security inter-clusters initiatives. SAFE Cluster put the European Alliance of Security Clusters at the heart of its working efforts.

Up to now, this partnership counts 6 European security clusters as members:  CenSec (Denmark), Safety & Security Cluster (Finland), K.I.T (Germany), Security Cluster, HSD (The Netherlands) and SAFE Cluster (France). Our goal is strengthen collaboration between public and private parties, academia and R&D organizations, to stimulate innovation and economic growth to effectively develop European solutions on security and create industrial opportunities. This recent born cooperation is opened to other clusters who may be interested.

The 6 clusters members will organize workshops about calls for European projects on security. All actions will help to identify common interests and will actively contribute to enrich upcoming security conferences.
